Introduction:
Actually once I went to kodaikanal like 7 years ago, I have tasted there a bread omlette. Everything was ok but I needed some pepper punch and colourful veggies. That taste I loved and made some alterations and came here to present. Put on your hats, aprons and get into the kitchen kiddos lets prepare this
Ingredients:
☺EGGS - 2 nos.
☺CAPSICUM - 1/2 nos. finely chopped
☺CARROT -1 small grated
☺ONION - 1 finely chopped
☺GREEN CHILLI - 1 without crown finelly chopped
☺CORIANDER LEAVES - a handfull finely chopped
☺PEPPER POWDER - 2 teaspoon ( adjust as per your spicyness)
☺SALT - 1/2 teaspoon
☺OIL - 1 teaspoon to cook
☺TOMATOES {CHOPPED FINELY}(optional) - 1/2
☺ Besan flour and water - (instead of eggs for vegetarians) - 1 cup
How to prepare?:
First, beat the eggs in a bowl until the yolks are mixed evenly. Finely chop all the vegetables like capsicum, carrot, onion, green chilli, mint leaves, and coriander leaves. Add the chopped vegetables to the beaten eggs and season the mixture with salt and pepper powder. Let this mixture sit for a few minutes to allow the flavors to blend. Now heat a pan on medium flame, add a little oil, and pour the egg mixture into the pan. Let it cook evenly on both sides until golden brown. Once done, gently place the omelette on a plate and garnish it with a few drizzle of pepper powder if you want to make it more spicy. Your tasty and healthy special omelette is ready to serve! If you're using besan flour and eater mix it without lumps in a batter consistency. And others the same as above .
Servings : Two or three serves
Serving Suggestion : You can even stuff between bread slices and burgers. Serve with ketchup.
Preparation Time: 30 minutes including the veggies preparation
🥦 Health Benefits:
This colourful veggie-loaded omelette is not just tasty, but also a wholesome power pack of goodness. Eggs are rich in protein and essential nutrients like vitamin B12 and choline which are great for brain development and energy. Carrots add a punch of Vitamin A that helps our little chefs’ eyes shine bright and stay sharp. Capsicum and tomatoes are rich in Vitamin C which keeps immunity strong, while onions and green chillies bring in antibacterial properties to fight germs. Coriander adds freshness and are known to help in digestion too. Together, they make this omelette a rainbow on your plate healthy, happy and hearty!
🧒 Kids Advisory:
Hey little master chefs! This recipe needs a bit of fire and sharp tools, so always call mama or dada to help when using the stove or chopping the veggies. You can help by breaking the eggs, mixing the ingredients, and arranging the mint and coriander like a mini garnish artist. Just remember to wash your hands before and after cooking and wait until the omelette cools down a little before tasting, so your little fingers and tongue stay safe. Being careful is also part of being a great chef!
🩺 Health Advisory:
Dear parents and caretakers, this recipe is usually safe for children above two years when eggs and spices are well cooked. You may reduce the spice or skip green chillies for toddlers. Always use fresh eggs and clean veggies. For little ones, cut the omelette into soft bite-sized pieces and make sure it’s not too hot. If your child has an egg allergy, kindly avoid or consult your doctor before introducing. If you're giving for toddlers or small kids please ask elders before feeding them.
