Hi my dear kiddos and my dear readers,  

Its  been a very long time since we shared recipes. In the mean time I have  completed my course and project. Now I have updated our blog with new look and theme. It makes me feel refreshed after seeing those. How are u all ? Please comment my dear readers, so that I could know your sweet name. So in the mean time i have discovered some healthy alternatives that could get our mom's approval for that dish. So this is a series of Mom's Approval Recipes. So come on guy's lets quickly dive into the recipe , ingredients and preparation. 

Our first recipe of mom's approval recipes series is Home Made Rose Milk essence.

 Introduction: 

Actually why I got this idea is I love rosemilk very much and I'll have it wherever I go. But in the recent days when I ask my mama, She'll tell that those colors are not good for health. So I thought of making my own rosemilk. That made me to try this one. This is very natural and healthy as well as tasty one. It won't bother your mom's health policies. So come put on your aprons and hat little chefs, lets get into kitchen and prepare it.

 Ingredients are : 

  •   beetroot - 1 full 
  •   Raw cane country sugar - 1/2 cup 
  •   Cardamom powder - 2 pinches (rose essence if you wish)

 

How to prepare?:

                 First take a beetroot and clean it. Peel it properly and dice it into small pieces and blend it in a blender. Now strain it in a strainer and carefully transfer the juice in a small pan and start heating. Maintain the stove in simmer and add the country cane sugar into the pan . Mix it until it starts thickening. don't let it to thicken and let it be in a liquid consistency. Now add 2 pinches of cardamom for essence and transfer the contents into a glass bottle once it gets cooled and refrigerate it after every use .

Health Advisory: 

As it contains no preservatives , nobody could save your essence from microbial activities if you don't refrigerate it. It sits well in the fridge for a month. I don't know it is suitable for toddlers or not. If you see bubbles or sour smell just discard it.

Kids Advisory:

 my dear little master chefs you all should definitely try this recipe but do this under the supervision of your mama or dada. As well as ask help from them while using stove and sharp things like knife etc. If you're having cold or fever drink it hot. Don't have it chilled or iced. 

Serving suggestion: 

Take a glass of Cold Boiled Milk. Add 2-3 teaspoons of this mix and give it a mix. It is ready- your tasty and healthy homemade rosemilk is ready. 

Preparation Time: 1/2 an hour 

Shelf life : 1 month (if refrigerated )
