Crispy Spring Rolls

Introduction: Personally I love this recipe. It’s so crunchy and yummy! So I am sharing this with you. Come on chefs, put your aprons and chef hat and get into the kitchen👨‍🍳👩‍🍳. Let's do this together while you can help your mama and dada to prepare🍽

Ingredients:

  • Dough: 2 cups of Wheat flour or Maida (enough for 6-8 squares)

  • Cabbage: 1 cup (finely shredded)

  • Carrot: 1 medium (cut into thin strips)

  • Capsicum: 1 medium (sliced thin)

  • Onion: 1 large (thinly sliced)

  • Soy Sauce: 1 teaspoon

  • Tomato Ketchup: 2 tablespoons

  • Chilli Sauce: 1 teaspoon (less if you want it mild!)

  • Pepper powder: ½ teaspoon

  • Salt: A tiny pinch (because the sauces already have salt!)

  • Oil: For sautéing and deep frying

How to cook?: Take all the veggies mentioned above and wash them thoroughly. Cut them into long thin strips. Ask mama or dada to sauté the veggies in a pan with a little oil. Add the soy sauce, ketchup, and chilli sauce until it looks brownish-red and smells delicious! Now, take your dough and roll it into a thin square shape. Place your yummy veggie mix inside and roll it up like a little log. Seal the edges tight! Now, let mama or dada deep fry it in hot oil until it becomes golden and crispy. Serve it with extra ketchup.
